Client Recommendations
We are always exploring new possibilities for email clients. For now, our recommendations are as follows:
- For Windows 98 computers
We still recommend and support the use of Netscape Messenger, a component of Netscape Communicator. - For Windows XP computers
We recommend and support the use of Mozilla Thunderbird, and this is the application we will install on new computers for you. Installation documentation for Thunderbird can be found on the Email Support Documents page.
You may also check your e-mail from any Internet browser by using EMUMAIL at http://mail.owls.lib.wi.us. This is especially helpful when you need to check your email while attending conferences or other events away from your library.
