I was looking at this again today (Feb. 21) and wondering if the ALT or NAME attributes could be used to explain what the image is about.
Google does this and it's kinda fun.
So something like:

PG - I always use ALT attributes (but I am not consistent with NAME, I will admit...). Firefox seems to handle ALT tags oddly - they don't always display, so that might be part of the problem if that's your browser of choice. I'll play more with the NAME attribute and see if that works better. Thanks for your comment!
