We have been working hard on WebpacPro, the next upgrade to the opac. WebpacPro has been installed on our testing server, and we have been tweaking some old features, testing some new ones, and generally trying to make InfoSoup even better than before. A list of the highlights and changes is available, so please take a look at the PDF and see what we've been working on. You can view the testing server and WebpacPro at http://tstils.owls.lib.wi.us from within the OWLS and APL networks, but not from the outside world. There are still a few things we're tweaking, but we're getting very close to being ready to go. Please take a look ASAP and share your comments and questions below. Thanks!

The WebPac Pro upgrade has been scheduled for tomorrow, May 9th. The OPAC and the Millennium client will continue to be available during this time - we do not expect any downtime. Once the upgrade is finished, we'll work on the changes to the design. You can expect to see these changes in the OPAC around noon tomorrow.

Unfortunately, while spellcheck is part of our new design, the spellcheck product will not be installed on the server on the same time as WebPac Pro. We're working with Innovative to get this installed as quickly as possible, and will let you know when it is available.
