Barcode validity checking not working
Recently, we learned that barcode validity checking is not working in our system. That means that the system is not warning you when a barcode mis-scans - even when you are creating a new record. This is a known issue, and Innovative is working on the problem. It sounds sound like a fix will be out soon, so we'll keep you updated.
In the meantime, please be extra careful when creating new patron and item records to avoid a faulty barcode being stored in the record.
