OverDrive and replacement library cards
When patrons create an OverDrive account, OverDrive uses the patron's barcode as the record number. This means that when a patron gets a replacement barcode, they can no longer access their original OverDrive patron acount.
This won't affect materials already downloaded, but does prevent access to a patron's holds and wish lists. If this happens to one of your patrons, you can send Evan the patron's name, their old library barcode and their new library barcode. He'll contact OverDrive and have them transfer the data from the old patron barcode to the new patron barocode.
