AAC update
At the September AAC meeting, there were three items that staff might want to be aware of, in advance of the meeting notes.
- The Teacher Card Committee procedures and application forms were accepted as submitted, and have been released into the wild. (Or, into OWLSnet, as the case may be.) For libraries who are interested in implementing Teacher Cards, please note that OWLS staff will need to set up Itypes and templates to support this functionality, so please contact us before beginning to offer these. We will make all of the changes necessary and let you know when the work is complete.
- The updated Damaged/Missing Materials with Holds Procedure has also been accepted, and replaces the older procedure. The major change is the new Check in (Do not Fulfill Holds) mode.
- Recent Search history, always available for patron records, is now also available for searches from Search/Holds as well.
